With profound gratitude to the Almighty God for His continued blessings and protection, let me submit the annual report for the academic year 2024-25.
Highlights:
- *. The current academic year which dawned with the reopening of the school on 3 rd June 2024. Pravesanolsavam along with environment day celebration was the main attraction of the day .Colourful programs were arranged for the new comers. We look forward to achieve our goals in studies ,arts ,literature, sports etc. Our mind set on our targets and began to work sincerely.
- *.The total strength of the school is 812. We have 36 teaching staff and 8non teaching staffs. We have a team of proficient and competent teachers and very co-operative non teaching staffs.

- *38 students appeared for the board exam and performed well. We achieved 100% results. Pranav Mohan was the top scorer and 7 students scored above 90%.
- *We could upgrade our school to high-tech level . The school provide the students with a library ,architecture and also small class facilities.
- *.We have an efficient PTA in our school to assess and encourage in all our activities.
- *.As a part of enrichment programs various workshops and seminars are periodically organized throughout the year for the overall development and enhancement of skills in teachers and students. Almost all the teachers attended online training sessions through different CEO’s. Our school also organized training programs for the teachers .
- *.Academic excellence is our main goal. Our teachers assess the progress of each students and evaluate their progress through conducting periodic and semester exams to foster the students skills and talents various clubs were formed .Along with these clubs we have 4 houses to nurture and develop the co-curricular activities. Various competitions were conducted to motivate the students spirit both in scholastic and non –scholastic activities.
- *.Our school bagged a special recognition from the Mathrubhumi for an exceptional commitment to the program LOVE PLASTIC 2.0 project to eradicate and reduce the usage of plastic within the school premises
- *.Installing the spirit of being responsible and teach them democratic values students council election was held on 15 th July 2024.Headboy and head girl was elected for the school parliament .
- *. We conducted our school level arts competition and selected the winners for sub district sahodaya competition . Best house is determined by considering the total points. We also participated in sahodaya youth festival competition.
- *.School Arts Festival Ujjwala 2024, staged at our school on 16 and 17 th August marked by the overwhelming participation of our students. Majority of them emerged as glorious winners and selected for Sahodaya competition
- *.This year annual sports meet got a flying start with a march past and display. Winners were selected and gave them prizes for the same. Our students participated in Sahodaya sports competition held at central stadium and secured 2 nd and 3 rd prizes
- *.Anti-Drug Day ceremony was lighted up with a flash mob by the students of NSS Women’s college, Neermankara. An outreach program based on anti-drug day was presented at Govt. H.S.S. Kalady. The function was delighted by the flash mob of St. Mary’s students followed by an interesting message by the chief guest Ajith R., Preventive officer, Vimukthi Resouce person. To cheer them up we provided snacks and soft drinks.
- *.We celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21 st through Mass Yoga and practices and classes handled by yoga instructors
- *.Karate classes are conducting weekly to inculcate values and morals in students.
- *. Students are given various opportunities to learn other than class room teaching by observing Reading day ,Yoga Day, Independence Day, Teacher’s Day ,KeralaPiravi and GandhiJayanthi. There was grand celebrations as a part of Onam and Christmas.
- *. Our school organised health awareness programs by conducting awareness classes on health and pollution.
- *. Our school conducted tour programs for students of LP,UP and HS section.
- *. As a token of concern towards the needy we helped one of our students family whose father passed away recently. Eye test and medical camps were conducted as a part of service.
- *. We promise to continue our journey with confidence and zeal. With this, we foresee a world of universal singularity where our children are going to be the propellant of this change and the world shall be a beautiful place to live in.
